Who we are

Working together for a prosperous and self-reliant Busoga

Busoga Yaiffe is a registered non-governmental organisation committed to the cultural and socio-economic wellbeing of the Busoga region.

The organisation was officially launched in December 2007 in Jinja, Uganda, following extensive discussion among Basoga, friends of Busoga and well-wishers within Uganda and in the diaspora.

Through advocacy, partnerships and community programmes, we create opportunities for stakeholders to discuss development priorities and contribute to lasting regional transformation.

The annual Olwekobaano brings together farmers, development partners, innovators, businesses, professionals and friends of Busoga to discuss practical solutions for the region’s development.
